(Horizon 4.2) Bug: Social media links block icon color setting has no effect

Selecting a color in the Social Media Links block has no effect on the fill color of the icons.

Steps to reproduce

  1. In the footer, add a group block (or any section other than Footer utilities) and add a Social media links block inside it.
  2. Add a link (e.g. Instagram) and choose a Color in the block settings.
  3. Look at the icon on the storefront or in the editor.

Expected:

The icon uses the chosen color.

Actual:

The icon keeps the inherited text color. The setting has no effect.

Suggested fix:

Set color in the block’s style rule:
