Does anyone know how to make ‘Go to File’ more visible in this new Shopify code editor?
I will forget the ‘Ctrl + P’ keyboard shortcut probably. Be nice if you could just add it to the sidebar.

Ah so it is actually accessible via the context menu then - I didn’t even think it was possible other than the shortcut

Would be useful if it was just permanently at the top of the editor - I suppose we will get used to it though hah.
yeah it’s a complete downgrade in terms of simplicity, and then there’s all the other quirks and bugs.
Anyone else hate this new code editor?
No, I really hate it as well. The goal of this editor (especially for us at support as theme developer) was to quickly find a file and do a code edit. Now, it’s Visual Studio in the browser. It takes more time to load, and it just feel too complex for the primary use case of this editor :(. I wish if Shopfiy could keep the old editor as the default

Seconded, exactly my use-case as well, the initial load time is very disruptive at the moment !
