How to request the off-platform billing exception

Hello Dear Team.

Our app is free to install with no billing code or paywalls — it renders a post-purchase survey on the Thank-you page via a checkout UI extension. The surveys are built in our standalone SaaS platform, which merchants pay for directly outside Shopify.

Requirement 1.2 prohibits off-platform billing “unless you’ve been notified otherwise by Shopify”.

What is the correct way to request it? Is a Partner Support case plus a note in the submission’s review instructions the right mechanism, or is there a dedicated process?

Hi Remy! Thank you so much for your answer! Is there any other way to get this approval before we re-submit the review so we can tick this by the time we do so, or the only way to get it is to post the exemption request (similar to my message above) to the testing instructions? Could you guide me where could we acquire this? I have contacted support and wrote a post here, as instructed previously.
