We are planning to migrate to the GraphQL API as the REST Admin API is being deprecated.

In our application, we are updating multipass_identifier with the customers API of the REST Admin API, but not with customerUpdate of the GraphQL API.

Thanks for highlighting this issue - it does appear that it’s not currently possible to update multiplass_identifier with the customerUpdate mutation. I’ve connected with the Customer Accounts product team however with this feedback and I’ll update this post when I learn more about how we can support this.

I’d love an update on this also @Liam-Shopify . This is currently blocking me from using the GraphQL API instead of the REST API
