In recent days, after the shop metafield configuration is successfully updated, the front-end page will be delayed to take effect (delayed for several hours)

Recently, when we updated the shop metafield configuration for the first time, the metafield data read by the front-end page took effect immediately. However, after successfully updating the corresponding shop metafield configuration again, the front-end page still displays the old configuration data. It takes several hours for the latest shop metafield data to be displayed. What is the reason for this?

Hey @Albert_Los, thanks for reporting this. I would like to replicate this delay you are seeing. Can you share more details on specifically the metafields you are updating and the step by step instructions (including API calls) that I can use to reproduce this delay you are seeing?

Sorry we’re late.

We’ve been monitoring the issue for a few days and it seems to be progressing at different times. Most of the time, updates take effect immediately. However, there are a few hours where updates take effect after a delay of about an hour.
This seems to be much better than in the past few days.

We will continue to monitor the issue for a few more days. You can mark it as resolved.

The issue still occurs. Metafields are still occasionally cached for a few hours.
