Incorrect “Fulfillment Service” category-specific criteria classification

Dear Shopify Team,

We have recently noticed that our app has been classified under the “Fulfillment services” category-specific criteria.

Our application operates as a platform for importing merchant (supplier) products into our marketplace. When a customer places an order on the merchant’s store, our system automatically transmits this order directly to the respective supplier. It is important to note that our platform does not engage in any warehousing, picking, packing, or shipping activities. These fulfillment processes are entirely managed by the Shopify merchant.

We didn’t create any fulfillment service at all.

Could you please provide some insight into the reasoning behind the “Fulfillment services” category-specific criteria classification for our app?

You should be able to get in touch with them through our frontline teams via help.shopify.com, but if you’ve tried that already, just let me know and I can take a look on our end here to see if we can help get you in touch with them.
