Hi, how are you? I’m starting to develop in Shopify and I need to create an extension that detects discounts applied to the cart. If it detects a discount I specify, it will hide or show me certain payment methods.
I was able to read the discounts on the order, but I only see them from the preview URL, not from the store where I have the extension installed.
Is this only possible with a paid plan, or do I need to activate something for it to work?

Checkout UI extensions for the information, shipping and payment step are available only to stores on a Shopify Plus plan.
Hi Liam, thanks for reply. I see the checkout UI extensions. But I have seen that some market apps can do it for basic plans. Do you have an idea how can I do what I tell you for a Basic plan?
Post-purchase extensions (thank you page and order status page) can appear on non-plus stores - are these the extensions you mean?

Hi again - if you want to hide the payment method on the checkout page, the store would need to be on the Plus plan.
