Is LCP still paused for BFS

Hey, about 7 months ago a Shopify staff member announced in this thread that LCP scoring was paused. Is that still the case?

On our app’s distribution page, Web Vitals shows a checkmark — which I’d assume means the requirement is satisfied — but the LCP score itself is stuck in a loading state, never resolving to an actual value (see the attached screenshot).

Our LCP is actually above 2.5s, so we’re wondering: is the checkmark showing because LCP scoring is still paused on Shopify’s end, or is this a UI bug and we actually need to bring it under 2.5s to meet the Built for Shopify requirements?

The LCP requirement is still paused due to irregular patterns making accurate and consistent measurements difficult.

I think it should either be abandoned or apps that display a big element occupying the whole screen while loading should be penalized.

Does this apply only to apps that already have BFS or also new sumissions?
