I’d like to ask what the most optimal and correct way is to implement Meta Pixel in a Hydrogen storefront.
Is the recommended approach currently a combination of:

manually handling storefront events in the Hydrogen app, and

adding a Custom Pixel in the Shopify Admin specifically for checkout events?
Is this the only proper and reliable solution at the moment?
I’m asking because many AI agents — including Shopify Sidekick — consistently claim that adding only a Custom Pixel is sufficient for headless stores and that this is the “one correct” approach. I’m struggling to understand why this would fully cover a Hydrogen setup, especially for storefront-side events.
I’d appreciate it if someone could clarify the reasoning behind this and explain the limitations or trade-offs of each approach.
