I couldn’t find a category to report Shopify Admin issues, so first of all sorry if this is not the best category to expose this issue.
I would like to inform about something that could be a bug in the Shopify admin, or at least it could potentially cause problems. It is related to the different fields a merchant have when configuring currency formats:
These fields seem not to have a character limit (I tried with more than 30K and it works). It doesn’t sound reasonable, and may cause discrepancies for developers as, if we need to replicate those values in our side, we may need to impose a limit.
Therefore, my questions are:
- Is indeed there a character limit? Which one?
- In case of no limit, could you impose one?
