not getting “Refund Owed” flag after approving return/exchange requests

The Refund Owed flag is not appearing in Shopify.
This is impacting their sales analytics and order financial tracking in Shopify, as the system is not marking these orders as amounts owed to the customer.

Was the paid with Shopify Payments or a different payment method?
Is a 3rd Party Fulfillment service used?

We will need to investigate that order but in order for us to be authorized to review our logs for that order, can you reach out to us through help.shopify.com?
