Onsite payment app => Cache of installed apps in shop? cannot install it

hi community.

I’m working on the development of a APM onsite - payment app, and I’ve noticed that when I try to install it in the usual development store, it shows a broken version without the “activate” button , yet if I choose a different development store, it shows the correct app with the activate button…

is there a limit to the amount of installations one can make per app per shop while developing?

is it being cached? the same installation on a different development store shows totally different… (correct/expected)

i’m not sure what is going on but I’ve noticed that cache and development mode
(shopify app dev) doesn’t always work very well, for example, I cannot see my thank you page extensions rendering when doing local development…

anyway, this makes very confusing the development experience, as I don’t know what is going on. it would be good that you have more transparency around this issue, for example viewing the code deployed in an extension from the dashboard would also be helpful.

any idea on how to unblock this would be of great help.
