We are using two webhook topics: orders/update and orders/delete.
Can you tell us why, when an order is deleted, we receive the orders/delete payload and then another orders/update payload immediately afterward?
Is this a bug, or is this the normal behavior of the orders/delete webhook?

I’ve been able to replicate this on my own test store, and it looks like the deletion event is triggering the orders/updated webhook, as the updated_at field of the order gets updated just before it is deleted.
I’m not sure if this is expected behaviour at this time, though I am discussing this with our developers further, and will follow up here once we have more information to share on this behaviour.

I’ve discussed this further with our developers today, and we can confirm that this is actually expected behaviour at this time.
If you have any specific context or information you’d like to share on how this affects your workflow negatively, I can absolutely pass some feedback internally on this. While we can’t guarantee direct feedback will result in it being changed, I can assure you we do take all our partner and merchant feedback to great value when determining future platform changes and updates, and the more feedback we get for topics like this, the more likely it is to change.
