I’m building a post-purchase app and have run into two critical issues related to the embedded admin experience and post-purchase extension setup. These problems occur inconsistently across some merchant stores, and I haven’t been able to identify the root cause.
1. App menu not showing in Shopify Admin
When some merchants open the app from Shopify Admin, the app loads, but the navigation menu doesn’t render. This makes it difficult for merchants to navigate, and breaks the expected embedded app experience.
2.App missing from Settings → Checkout → Post‑purchase page
After installation, the app sometimes doesn’t appear under Settings → Checkout → Post‑purchase page, even though it includes a Post‑Purchase UI Extension.
The only workaround I’ve found is to uninstall and reinstall the app, and then it correctly registers. But this obviously isn’t a sustainable solution for merchants.
These issues seem to occur randomly in some stores. I’ve double-checked the extension config, App Bridge integration, and Partner Dashboard setup, but nothing stands out.
Has anyone encountered similar issues?
