our app (post-purchase extension) was rejected multiple times now during review because the upsell page didn’t appear after checkout.
From our side, the app was set up correctly: an active offer was configured (by the reviewer) and our system recorded that the offer should have been shown for the reviewer’s order.
We can not reproduce this behavior at all if we respect the Shopify limitations at About product offers
However the reviewer’s order was shipped internationally and Shopify’s documentation says that in some cases (e.g. international orders with duties or multiple currencies) the post-purchase page won’t be shown at all, even if the app is working.
We’re currently in a temporary submission suspension and would like to ask:
Could this rejection be because of a Shopify platform rule, not a bug in our app?
Is there any way to continue the review sooner?
Are reviewers aware of the limitations?
