Production outage – TLS handshake failure to *.myshopify.com blocking live integrations

Dear Support,

This is a production-blocking issue impacting our live Shopify integration.

Our backend systems are unable to establish a TLS handshake to
https://insulectro.myshopify.com.

This integration worked previously and stopped without any application-side changes.

Even with SNI explicitly enabled, the server closes the connection before sending a certificate.

Evidence (from production server):

openssl s_client -connect insulectro.myshopify.com:443 -servername insulectro.myshopify.com

Result:

  • TCP connection succeeds

  • TLS handshake reads 0 bytes

  • No peer certificate available

  • No cipher negotiated

Because the TLS handshake fails, all HTTPS-based API calls (including Oracle UTL_HTTP) fail with:

ORA-29273: HTTP request failed
ORA-29259: end-of-input reached

Impact:

  • Live production integrations are blocked

  • Price / order / API synchronization cannot run

  • Business operations are affected

Request:
Please treat this as urgent / production outage and confirm whether there were:

  • Recent TLS / certificate / CDN changes

  • New TLS version or cipher requirements

  • Any policy changes affecting legacy or backend HTTPS clients

We need guidance or remediation urgently to restore production service.

Our Shopify admin is in the process of raising this with Shopify Partner Support as a production-blocking issue .
