Hi team,
My username is Hamza_Ruel (profile: community.shopify.dev/u/hamza_ruel).
When I check my own preferences, “Hide my public profile” is unchecked, and my account settings (hide_profile_and_presence, hide_profile, hide_presence) are all set to false. My trust level is 1.
However, when anyone views my profile while logged out / not authenticated, they see “This user’s public profile is hidden.” I verified this directly via the public API (/u/hamza_ruel.json), which returns “profile_hidden”: true for anonymous requests — even though my own settings clearly show it should be visible.
I compared this with another active user’s profile (same trust level) and theirs shows up normally to anonymous viewers, so this doesn’t seem to be a site-wide setting — it looks specific to my account.
Could someone from the team take a look at why my profile is being flagged as hidden despite my settings, and help resolve it?
