Redirect loop if I press enter on the address bar to load the app again

This is happening on all stores, here are a few of my development stores that is happening :

production stores :

App store reviewer store (they reviewed my app using this store, and hit this issue, and issued a warning to me saying its my app issue, what the heck)

Thanks folks - I can reproduce this on my side but other folks at Shopify can’t, so it’s possible there’s a geographical element here. We’ve narrowed down what is causing this however and are working on a fix currently.

@soulchild - I’ve also connected with the app review team to let them know the behaviour they flagged is a platform issue on our side and not related to your app.

Thanks Liam. We’ve had merchants reach out about this issue from multiple countries - the app charge creation flow redirecting/not completing is the more critical one. They see a charge activated in Shopify admin, but it doesn’t return back to the app so we’re not able to confirm and track plan changes on our end.

Hi, we’re experiencing a similar issue (embedded apps, legacy OAuth flow). When navigating from the Shopify admin, everything works fine, but sometimes we get an infinite redirect loop on page refresh (F5) or on redirects initiated inside the iframe. Disabling the cache occasionally helps. The issue can be reproduced across many apps.

I’m also seeing this across multiple merchants and can replicate it myself

Many merchants are reporting that they are unable to finish the installation of our apps. Could you please provide an update on the status of this issue?

We’ve also encountered this issue (New OAuth flow). Are there any updates? Our merchants are getting frustrated.

We are also facing a redirect issue. Merchants can install the app, but the payment loader page is stuck at the loading . Can we look into this issue ASAP

Update: we’ve identified the cause of the issue and are implementing a fix now.

Is anyone else now getting “Could not start Cloudflare tunnel: max retries reached.“ When running “shopify app dev“?

Getting this same issue today.

Tried 3 browsers (Opera, Chrome, Edge), restarting PC, and 3 browsers again.

Issue is consistent with me, but one of my overseas coworkers says she’s not getting this issue.
