As a sales chanel we list products from different stores. Is there a way for a customer to make one payment buying products from different stores?

From my understanding this should allow you to implement a centralized checkout system within your app to aggregate products from different stores into a single cart/ single payment.
When I read about it I saw that payment processing is only allowed if in a need to use some specific payment method not supported by shopify checkout UI.
Do you thing combining products from different store would be a sufficient reason for Shopify to allow us process payments?
