Shopify app dev => Failed to fetch theme: xxxxxxx

When I tried to start a Shopify app using the shopify app dev command in the Shopify CLI, I encountered the error shown in the attached image.

I added a theme extension using the shopify app generate extension command, so I believe the app is requesting access to a theme.

However, the Theme ID: 142180647102 does not actually exist.
I am unsure how to reset the linkage to the Theme ID.

Additionally, I recently updated the version of the Shopify CLI.
I’m not sure if this is related, but I wanted to share it as part of the context.

I’m looking for a solution to this issue.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Theres an issue with the CLI (latest version I believe) where error messaging has been messed up, for example I was receiving the same when trying to use shopify theme dev but I was actually logged into the wrong partners account.

This has been flagged already over on the CLI GitHub.

Thank you for your reply!
I appreciate you sharing that the same issue occurs with shopify theme dev and that it might be related to being logged into the wrong partner account.

I plan to wait for Shopify to fix this bug before updating my CLI to the latest version. Thank you again for your helpful information!

Hey @ryuji.morimoto,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

We’ve released Shopify CLI 3.73.2 a few minutes ago, fixing this problem, so upgrading the CLI should solve this issue.

Still, if anything unexpected happens, please feel free to let us know at GitHub · Where software is built

Thanks again for bringing this up!
