I have submitted several reports over the last few months of apps egregiously violating the partner and app store TOS, I have yet to have any response or seen any action taken.
Over a year ago I submitted a report and relatively quickly got asked for more information which presumbly led to an investigation. I didn’t expect to hear the result of the investigation, however at least I got a response so I felt confident it was being looked into.
Considering the large number of reviews my competitors are getting with ‘remove watermark by leaving a review’, why should I not also do the same given no action is being taken even when reported? Can someone from Shopify please me know if violation reports are being monitored?

At the moment, the only update we can share is from Eytan’s tweet that touches on this:
On fake reviews: these are bad actors, full stop. Our App Store requirements are explicit that fake reviews violate the partner program agreement. We’re actively identifying the partners doing this, and the consequences will be real. The integrity of the App Store matters a lot to us and the partners building honest businesses deserve a level playing field. We are going to work to make sure this happens.
I hope this helps as this is the extent of the details that can be shared at this time.
I’m hoping we are going to start seeing some action soon. It feels like we have been pushing for something to be done for so long now, and see no results. Even some of the most blatant review violations outlined in those threads (linked by Wes), which have been reported by numerous developers, are still sitting there happily…
