Shopify-app-template-remix still NOT using web components

There is a PR that says: Polaris Web Component TypeScript template [Do not merge until GA] and is on hold for months. Is it Polaris Web Components not GA yet? And specifically in that PR the missing bit is:

Ship admin-ui-foundations release and remove the public/app-bridge-ui-experimental.js

Would be really helpful if somebody would bring some clarity, the template should help developers new to Shopify but this part about Polaris React vs Web Components feels very confusing.

To confirm:

  • Yes, Polaris Web Components is GA as of this changelog post.
  • Our new React router template is up to date and already utilizes these components in the app home

unfortunately I was not aware remix as well is “deprecated” in favour of react-router.
