I have a couple of questions about the Sidekick Extension:
1- Has the Sidekick Extension been officially rolled out? Last month, I checked and it didn’t seem to be available for all app developers yet. I just wanted to check whether the rollout is now complete.
2- Based on the documentation I’ve read, it seems the Sidekick Extension only works for merchants who have already installed our app, since it uses data from the app to provide recommendations. Does that mean it won’t recommend our app to merchants who haven’t installed it yet? Is my understanding correct?
Sidekick App Extensions are completely separate to how your app could appear as a recommendation in Sidekick - implementing these extensions won’t impact on how/if sidekick recommends your app in chats, but what is will do is allow merchants who have your app installed to interact with it eg: to access data, or perform actions.
