Quick introduction.
I’m not a developer (You don’t say! I here you cry) I am a tight-(insert expletive here) and need some help.
How do I sort the metaobject lists so that at the product creation they are in alphabetical order rather than the order they were updated.
Hopefully you can see in the image below what I need, the list of characters were in Z-A sort order due to how I added them, but Maximillian is stuck at the top of the list which is even more annoying than Z-A sort.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The only options in the admin for sorting, would be when you go to the metaobject definition and view the entries. You can sort and save custom views there.
I don’t think that will carry over to how they are viewed in the products metafield selection though. What you see looks to be the default.
Since you mentioned you’re not a developer, we are currently working on rolling out a new Shopify Community soon. Once that is launched that will be the best place for non-development related questions.
