Theme blocks limit

Anyone knows if theme blocks limit for sections has increased lately?
Last year when i tried to work with them in a mega menu context - there was a limit of 30 blocks per section(if i recall correctly) - which did not served my needs unfortunately.
Additional info
Was wondering if that limit has been increased lately, or if it will ever be increased?
