Open theme editor at any store, and see it stuck at loading screen and unable to proceed

Can confirm the same here. This is pretty big, @Alan_G / @KyleG-Shopify, can this be looked into ASAP?

Apparently it’s some policy violations of the URL when I “Inspect” it.

Same here. been stuck for a while on all devices / browsers

This is beyond frustrating. Can we get a fix asap please.

i think it’s represented under third party services- those being microsoft serving up vs code

This is likely related to Microsoft’s Azure outage, since VSCode is owned by Microsoft.

That’s what I wanted to know.

Hey folks :waving_hand: - thanks for your patience, just wanted to reach out with an update to close the loop. This issue was indeed related to the Azure outage yesterday. Microsoft has resolved the issue on their end and things seem to be resolved within the theme editor itself.

I’ll mark this as solved for now, but please feel free to reach back out if you’re seeing any further issues and I’ll take a look.

Sure would be nice to have a more simple code editor that people preferred that was not reliant on a 3rd party…
