Would be cool to trigger admin ui extension from app not just another admin UI extension.
Docs say:
Triggers an action extension from a block extension using the `extension:` protocol. The `extensionTarget` is the target of the action extension.
Would love if this can work for admin UI extension from app, like shopify link protocol does.

Really good idea for sure, thanks for flagging this. For extensions right now, you’re right that links only work inside a block to an action on the same resource page, not from the app itself. I’ll get this sent up to the product team as a feature request. I can’t guarantee anything on my end here in terms of if this will be released as a feature, but just wanted to touch base with you to let you know I’ve logged this officially
