Of late, there has been discussion around the product reviews.
Often we hear about fake reviews, spam reviews, and profane reviews.
One of the best ways to deal with such reviews is first verify if the customer has actually purchased the product, and then screening of the review can be done of the review that is submitted.
The review apps that provide such features, should be recognised by Shopify, and by the community.
I think it is possible to fight fake reviews and keeping in mind about these fake reviews/spam/etc, I have developed an app called Trustify.
Most review apps don’t check at the beginning whether a review submitter has actually purchased the product.
Some product reviews apps publish the review on the store without even being moderated by the merchant or by AI.
