Short description of issue

Unpublished themes are not loading in stores

Reproduction steps

  1. Go to Online Store > Themes
  2. Only the published theme is showing, an error pops up in a toast saying ‘Failed to load unpublished themes’

Additional info

Reproducable across multiple stores, other devs are also seeing the same issue.

I am also seeing this issue. It is reproducible across different browsers and on different machines.

Same issue confirmed on 3 different machines within our partner accounts on every store we are invited to. A developer from india however doenst have the issue.

Same here! Different browsers, different countries and so far 2 stores affected with this error.

Same here. 5 Shops with the Issue, 4 Shops everything working fine.
Seeing the problem in Shopify CLI as well. I pulled a theme, with the id I pulled it before, shopify delivered me the live theme instead of the desired theme. When checking theme ids with ‘shopify theme id’ via CLI the unpublished themes are all listed but they have other ids then before.

We’re experiencing the same issue across our entire team.

Unpublished themes are not visible at all, which is currently blocking our support workflows.

Any update would be appreciated.
