Hi everyone,
We’re dealing with a serious issue and really need help.
We received a message from someone on WhatsApp saying that if we don’t pay him $100, he will leave negative reviews on our app.
We ignored it at first and then he posted 5 negative reviews.
After that, we responded and ended up paying him $150 just to make it stop.
We basically gave in to the extortion.
But then he asked for more money.
We didn’t pay and now he posted 5 more negative reviews and keeps threatening us and adding more.
This is clearly not real feedback, just someone trying to damage our app unless we pay. This is seriously hurting our app and business.
Has anyone dealt with something like this?
Can someone from Shopify help us escalate this and remove these reviews? we sent more then 10 mails to the Phising shopify mail but we got no answer for 4 weeks..
Would really appreciate any help
