Use Stripe payment in a country supporting Shopify Payment

Hi everyone,

We want to use an escrow account to disburse the money to suppliers. This is important that we use Stripe and not Shopify for compliance as we cannot be the merchant on record of the transaction.

Stripe Connect is a strong candidate as it can send money to all the countries we need and is plug and play. We also looked at Mollie, Airwallex, and Adyen but their solution do not suit us.

The merchant is based in the UK so Stripe Payment is available, hence by default we cannot use the Stripe as a payment processor.

Is it possible to still use Stripe as a payment processor in the UK? If so who should we contact and which Shopify plan should we use?
