Website serving old images, products missing and not found after adding a new Market

Reaching out here because it’s been multiple days and I haven’t been able to find a resolution from the support team.

I have a website (cannot reveal it because it is for a client) that is completely broken after we used Shopify Markets to split our catalogue into two (home country and international) with variable pricing for some products.

The issues are (afaik occuring only for home market based users) :

  • Old banner image showing instead of new one
  • All the products added post the market split not visible at all on product pages
  • These same products giving a “Page Not Found” error when clicked on

All of these issues are intermittent and come and go with page reloads. Sometimes the products appear. Sometimes they disappear. When they do appear, it’s sometimes a “Page Not Found” error on the product page, that fixes itself on reload, only to reoccur on the second reload.

This only happens with products added after the market split. I have tried unlisting and relisting the products but it doesn’t help, and I’m not sure how that would be connected to an old banner image being served in any case.

I have checked every possible setting. No the products aren’t delisted when not in stock. They are synced to both catalogues. Shipping is serviced and setup for the region in question. I have refreshed my cache multiple times on multiple devices, and even made minor changes to the theme to try to refresh the website globally. No progress. The issue is so bad that even password protecting the store is sometimes showing the same old store without a password lock on this home market region. I have tried both sub-folders and normal domain. I’ve tried disabling redirection automatically and using a Third Party App.

What is the fix for this? I’m on the Atelier theme and there are no clashing apps, the only app that interacts with products (and that too only the front end element) is the BUCKS app. Has anyone faced problems like this?

Hey @Hritik_Narayan - if you’re open to sharing the shop URL and some example product links I can take a look into this.

Let me know if you’d rather start a DM to share this and I can set that up on my side here.
