what happened to previous early access submissions, pretty sure I sent one after the 2024 Dev Editions but never got a reply back. Can’t wait to check this out!
A subset of those submissions were invited. We’re now actively inviting people submissions from the form linked a the top of the updated docs.
Any idea when https://shop.app/minis-playground/ will be up and running? Trying to see what Minis would/could look like and examples are hard to come by with how new they are.

we’ll share more examples in the forum here as they go live.
@davidhoffman-shopify maybe i am not in the correct channel. we started building our idea. i have some question. how do we now it is approved? etc we have exchange some emails in relation to this.

What is the easiest way to get specific Shop IDs? For example, we want to highlight brands we like and their products only pulling from their official store and not other distributors on Shopify.
-First we tried product search, this was unreliable though. Say we wanted to feature a brand like SEED, well about a thousand Shopify stores distribute their product.
-Second we tried sleuthing in the browser if shop.app exposed this, but couldn’t find anything in the html or network requests.
Our app will feature about 25 handpicked merchants, so an easy way to grab these would be great.

EDIT: For now this is what I did
-Found a product in the official merchant store
-Grabbed the ID from the URL for the product then did useProducts to look up that product again
-This returns the shopID, which we then store for future use

Are iframes / embedded content allowed? For example, we wanted to embed a Spotify playlist of podcasts relevant to our niche.
-Grabbed the share embed code from Spotify
-Added spotify domain to allowlist in the mini
