Gahh these guys again… For anyone interested, this is the developer who was actively hiding their incentivised review banner from Shopify staff and other developers.
The outcome? A few reviews were removed from one of their auxiliary apps, and we’re now noticing that some of them are slowly being reinstated. Most of their other apps were completely unaffected… no punishment whatsoever.
When there are no meaningful consequences, what incentive is there to follow the rules?
