[Action | Trigger] Please consider adding Date type schema support

Hi there,

We have published actions and triggers that include specific date and datetime data that merchants would like to use to conditionally act on.

However, at this time, theDatetype is not available in the output GraphQL Schema.

Without this, merchants have to use JS run code steps and most don’t have the capability to do that. However, if Date types could be supported, then we could provide simple liquid snippets to run in a Conditional block to help them perform this date math.

Thanks for the suggestion. Flow doesn’t have actions that depends on a date type, which is why this doesn’t exist yet. But we agree we should have a datetime and/or date type.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. That would be so helpful if that’s possible. Then merchants can use liquid in conditionals to perform date math.

It would open up a lot more capability to Flow and open more doors to partners if this is possible. Fingers crossed.
