Tried with a few apps, opening Admin extension will result in blank modal
After clicking Admin extension in the “More actions” menu, the below errors appear in web console :
We are also experiencing an issue with all of our POS UI Extensions right now, currently investigating what’s going on
I have at least one report from a merchant that Order Status and Thank You page extensions are not working for them either.
Echoing Derrick - I confirmed that our Shopify POS tile modal is also down.
EDIT - the merchant misreported, it was also the Admin Extension block that was failing for them.
It should be back to normal now.

Thanks @Henry_Tao - yes I can confirm the Admin Extensions are working again.
Just waiting on official confirmation on the paired POS extension outage.
I spoke too soon @Henry_Tao, received this screenshot from a merchant at 4:11 ET. I will say it’s loading just fine on my development store.
It should be a cache on their end. The cache was already purged from the server. Two things they can also try:
- Hard reload the page
- Inspect the network tab and select disable cache, then reload
Thanks I’ll ask them to hard reload the page. I’ll let you know if I can guide them through that.
Respectfully, #2 isn’t feasible.
Please understand these merchants are not technical, they have no idea what a browser console is, let alone how to open it. They most likely would believe they would break something or worse get hacked.
I’ve asked the merchant to hard refresh the page, and they report this error is still occurring on Mac on Chrome.
I’ve tested myself and I’m not able to reproduce.
I can send more details privately.
