Hello, we have an upcoming sale and want to hide our discount code box from our checkout to prevent discount stacking. We are currently on the Advanced Shopify plan and know that this plan does not include checkout customizations. I’d like to see if anyone knows of a way to code something on our theme to hide the discount code box at checkout or any other suggestions. Thank you
Hey Gabriel, unfortunately what you want is not technically feasible (hiding the discount input field at checkout), regardless of your Shopify plan! The box is shown if any ‘code’ based discounts exist, and hidden otherwise.
My recommendation would be make sure that all of your discounts have the correct ‘discount combinations’ setup (https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/discounts/discount-combinations), such that they don’t combine. It’s also worth noting that (as of today), only 1 discount can apply per cart line, so they wouldn’t ‘stack’, so to speak!
