App Listing Submission Stuck on ‘We’re assigning a reviewer to your submission’ Since April 18 2026

Hello Shopify App Store Team,

I would like to ask about the status of my app listing submission. The current status has remained: “We’re assigning a reviewer to your submission” since 18 April 2026, and there has been no update yet.

I understand the review queue may take time, but I wanted to check whether this waiting period is normal or if there might be an issue with my submission.

Could someone from the team please help check the status or advise on the estimated review timeline?

We’ve implemented a number of improvements to the review process, which were described here:

As we work though submissions, you can expect to wait ~30 days to be assigned a reviewer, so the waiting time you’ve described is not unusual, although this is speeding up significantly. If you’re still waiting to get a reviewer assigned by May 18th, tag me here and I can check the specific app on my side.

Hi @Liam-Shopify , I submitted the app on April 7th. So, its been more than a month but no reviewer has been assigned yet. App ID is 343398678529.
