I’m experiencing a critical issue with my Shopify theme’s assets folder. Over time, images and fonts stored there are becoming corrupted. Here’s what’s happening:
- After a week or so, images lose details or become completely inaccessible.
- The corrupted files actually have a larger file size compared to the original.
- This problem isn’t limited to images—fonts are also getting corrupted.
- We’re not exactly sure when it started, but it wasn’t happening a few months ago.
- We’re uploading assets via Shopify CLI 3.75.0.
I’ve attached two screenshots as an example: one is the original image, and the other is the same file a week later. The “broken” file is heavier, and it can’t be opened properly.
Has anyone else encountered this? I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to diagnose or fix this issue. Thanks in advance for your help!
