I’m trying to switch to Shopify because we have a very old LiteSpeed store. My current setup gives me a report to reorder products by brand, so I’m trying to figure out if Shopify has an app for that.
What I mean is this:
Say I have 2,000 products, and they are from a variety of manufacturers. Is there a way to get a report that is grouped by manufacturer where I can see what I need to reorder based on inventory? It would be easier than trying to go product by product.
Are you looking to build your own custom app to achieve the functionality you’ve described? Or are you looking to use an existing app that handles this out of the box? If the latter, have you looked at these apps yet:

Do you know if there is a way to export products from a spreadsheet that can help move over pictures also to Shopify?
I have an 8 year old Litespeed shop and POS system. Yet moving 2,000 products with images to Shopify scares me.

Matrixify would be one of the most popular and reliable apps that’s used by merchants for importing product data from spreadsheets. They also mention Lightspeed migration on their listing page, so it sounds like a good fit. You could connect with their team for assurances with regard to images and migrating across POS/ retail configuration - I know they’re a great crew.
