We are a recently accepted Shopify Payment Partner.
Having built a skeleton payment extension and successfully running it with shopify app dev I am now trying to update the scopes on our Partner Dashboard from the app’s shopify.app.toml.
Tried to create a second app where the seetings are in shopify.app.payabl-checkout.toml
Running shopify app deploy or shopify app dev I get this error Beta requirements not met.
Same error on running shopify app dev a second time, it only worked when running it the first time before trying to update the scopes in the toml file.
I don’t understand what it means and I found no information about it only some other community.shopify.com posts asking the same question without getting an answer.
Can you please point me in the right direction to solve this blocking issue?

I have found the answer on my own question.
Apparently because of this:
Beta
Processing a payment with a credit card payments extension is supported as of API version 2023-04 and is currently in an invite-only closed beta.
Both CC and alternative types of extensions are in a closed beta program.
It is not enough to be a Payment Partner, one needs to be invited to the closed beta in order to develop such extensions.
That’s correct, refer to the below documentation for more information.

@Luke the docs do not detail how to get invited/approved for the Beta program though
