BFS Requirement: How to show status for multiple theme blocks/embeds?

Hey everyone!

Hope you’re all doing well. I’m a bit stuck and could use some guidance from the community.

We recently applied for Built for Shopify certification and got feedback from the review team saying:

“Your app must communicate the status of the theme block and/or theme embed on the app’s homepage.”

Here’s where I’m confused - our app has multiple theme embeds and app blocks. The feedback doesn’t specify whether we need to show the status for ALL of them or if displaying the status for just one would suffice.

Has anyone dealt with this requirement before? I’m not entirely sure about the best approach to implement this status communication, especially when dealing with multiple blocks/embeds.

Any insights or examples of how you’ve handled this would be super helpful!

Hi @Vipul_Pandey, If you have multiple App Blocks/Embeds, a useful approach would be to display a status on the homepage, with wording like “You have X app blocks active.” You’ll also still need to indicate when there are no app blocks activated as well. I hope that was helpful.
