We received the guidance from Shopify on Helpful homepage for our built for shopify submission.
Mentioned previously: 4.2.3 Helpful homepage: Your app must communicate the status of the theme block and/or theme embed on the app’s homepage. This section must be non dismissible and always visible on the homepage. See these screenshots as examples: screenshot 1, screenshot 2.
We had App Embed status in our homepage as part of our first re-submission too & our app can be enabled/disabled via app embed - it doesn’t need any other extension OR separate app activation steps. We have seen the same behaviour in multiple BFS approved apps in our category.
Can someone help me on what we might be missing?
Since, this feedback is already marked as previously mentioned, if we fail now, will we be put on 90 day ban from submission? We are just looking for more feedback so that if it is indeed an issue - we can fix it before submitting.
