Checkout-kit web platform stable version release date

Hi Shopify team,

I’m evaluating the checkout-kit web package for a project and I’m looking for information about when the stable version will be released. I’ve checked the GitHub repository and NPM registry but couldn’t find a timeline or roadmap.

Does anyone have details on the estimated release date for the stable version, or know where this information is published? I’d appreciate any guidance.

Thanks for flagging this. The current public guidance still has @shopify/checkout-kit in pre-release, with @shopify/checkout-kit@next being the install path for evaluation builds.

I’m checking internally for the latest stable release timing since the public roadmap/details don’t currently give a confirmed updated date. For now, I’d treat the web package as pre-release rather than production-ready until a stable 4.0.0 is published.

I’ll loop back here if I’m able to share a clearer update on our end.
