Now that B2B is available to all merchants, is there any plan to open API access to the company resource for non-Plus stores? This would help developers work with and extend the b2b features Shopify is now offering.
Curious if you’re having specific problems with this. We have an app using B2B companies and things seem to be working fine already on non-Plus shops.
Hey @Brett, very interesting. My initial tests of the company endpoint on non-Plus stores were successful. This is in direct contradiction to the API docs, all of which state that company resources are restricted to Plus stores. I wonder if the docs haven’t caught up to the actual API permissions?
Yeah I assume API docs just haven’t been updated to reflect the new B2B availability change
Hey folks - these docs were updated to remove mention of Plus being a requirement, but some functionality is limited to plan (where multiple staff accounts could be required).
