Certain types of products appear to not be showing up in storefront but DO in customizer/editor
Reproduction steps
I’m having an issue with complementary products only for specific products not showing up on the storefront - but they WILL show up in the customizer/editor?
Working on this shop and initially thought it was maybe just something weird with the JS and using both complementary and recommended products on the same page so I switched to using just the metafield value for our complementary products (makes more sense anyways) BUT that didn’t fix the issue.
Even when I drop JSON for the metafield product list, everything shows in the customizer/editor but not on the storefront…weird…

This is for a store that sells commercial cleaning equipment that hasn’t launched yet. Seems like at the moment the only thing NOT showing up is cleaning chemicals that go with the cleaning machines.
Current hypothesis is that it’s product-specific, but I can’t find anything that indicates they wouldn’t show up based on the type of product? It also doesn’t make sense that it renders in the customizer but not the actual storefront.
Based on docs time they shouldn’t show is -
Products that are out of stock or set to a price of 0, gift cards, and products in the visitor’s cart aren’t included in recommendations.
