Criteria for hero/featured slider placement in the Shop app

Hi there, we have a question about the hero slider area at the top of the Minis section in the Shop app.

We noticed some minis get featured there and were curious how that works:

  • What’s the criteria to get featured in that slider? Engagement-based, curated by the team, something else?
  • Do we need to submit our own banner image, or does it get pulled automatically from the app’s existing assets?
  • Is there a spec (size, aspect ratio, safe zones etc.) we should prep in advance just in case?

I did some digging and the featured carousel is curated on our end. Minis are generally considered based on a high standard of UX/UI and good engagement from Shop users.

If a Mini is selected, our design team creates the featured artwork, so you don’t need to submit a banner or prepare separate size, aspect-ratio, or safe-zone assets in advance.

If you’d like, you can share the name of your Mini and why you think it would be a good fit for promotion, and I can pass that context along.
