Hello, we recently upgraded our API version from 2024-04
to 2025-01
. However, we’ve noticed that the “Last detected” text continues to update to the current date.
They usually stay there for some time even after updating. It should go away at some point, if everything is updated.
Disclaimer - i’m not familiar with the UI/logging for public apps so I might be wrong
I’m facing an issue where the deprecation alert persists, even though I migrated to version 2024-04 several weeks ago. The alert consistently appears at 12:00 AM, and I cannot identify where the deprecated API call is being made.
I’ve been thoroughly investigating this but haven’t been able to find a solution. Unfortunately, my emails to Shopify support have gone unanswered, leaving me stuck.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hello @santechsoftware, @BigVan
We are in the same situation.
We did update the API version and calls and I need to be sure this is ok.
Did you have any answer on this and/or did the alert disappear ?
Thanks.
Sylvain
Please search for API calls related to products, which include:
/api/products
/api/products/count
/products/{id}/variants
We have converted all of these to GraphQL instead of REST, and the warning is no longer appearing.
Thanks for the info but, I already did that and the problem persists.
It is not the first time I update the app to a new API version and this is the first time is happening.
The last detected date is always at 12:00AM that is something really weird…
No Sylvain @Tchinkatchuk, I have opened a case last Friday and write again 4 hours ago… no reply from shopify yet.
