My app is installed on a shop, and I need to know when the merchant closes or pauses the store.
So far I've found:
- There is no "store closed" webhook topic.
- app/uninstalled does not fire when a shop is closed - my app stays installed.
- shop/update does fire on shop changes, and shows password_enabled and plan_name (values like frozen, cancelled, dormant).
- Frozen shops return 402 on API calls, locked shops return 423. By then, webhooks have usually stopped.
My questions:
1. Is plan_name a supported way to detect a closed store, or just incidental behaviour?
2. How do you detect Pause and Build, where the admin API still works fine?
3. Does shop/update actually fire when a plan is cancelled, or does access disappear first?
4. Should password_enabled count as "closed", or is private mode something different?
