I recently hit an error “Too many draft orders are being updated at once. Please try again in a few minutes”.
However, I can’t find a documented limit here or why this would be a limit.
Please could we get clarity on what this limit is and why its a limit please

Thank you I know the limits but this is a specific error message I’m getting back, not a graphql rate limit😊
I checked and I’m not hitting the GraphQL rate limits, it’s something specific to draft orders which I can’t find any docs on.
Which GraphQL are you using?

I’m pretty certain that this will need someone from Shopify to clarify as the error message returned is the one I posted which doesn’t match up to any documented limits

- thanks for reaching out here. I was able to take a look into this today and can confirm this is a known issue on our end. We don’t have a specific number for the amount of in-progress draft order updates that will trigger this happening, but we do have plans to fix the issue on our end fully at some point in the medium term.
Did also just want to confirm that this is on our radar - thanks for reporting this.
